Game Thread 3/26: Rangers at Ducks

The Rangers look to make it two consecutive road victories in California tonight against the Anaheim Ducks.

The Return of the King.

Tonight Henrik Lundqvist is expected to appear between the pipes for the Rangers for the first time since Mar. 7th. He'll be facing a powerhouse of the Pacific Division: the Anaheim Ducks.

The Ducks are a dominant team on home ice that are looking to put some distance between themselves, the Sharks and the Oilers in the standings. Heading into tonight's game all three teams were knotted up at 91 points. Last night in Los Angeles the Rangers made sure to keep the Kings stagnant at 77 points.

In 67 games this year Ryan Getzlaf has 62 points for the Ducks. He is two helpers away from his second straight 50 assist season.

The last time these two teams met the Rangers bested the Ducks by a score of 4-1 on Feb. 7th at MSG. Lundqvist put on a clinic that night with 43 saves on 44 shots against. Let's see if he can do something similar in his first game back in two and a half weeks.
