A scorching hot rookie, a point-producing blueliner, and a dominant veteran forward led the Wolf Pack throughout March.

The final full month of the 2025-26 season has come to an end, and it is once again time to name the Hartford Wolf Pack's three stars of the month. We'll highlight the three best players from the month of March. You can view stars for previous months here:

The Wolf Pack played 13 games in March, posting a record of 4-7-1-1. From these games, I've selected the three players that I think had the best overall performances of the month. Let's get into the three stars for March!

Third Star - Brody Lamb, forward

March stats: 7 GP, 2 G, 4 A, 6 Pts, +2, 2 PIMs

Throughout my time in Hartford, I've seen a number of prospects join the Wolf Pack late in the season and make an immediate impact. Three years ago, Adam Edström and Adam Sýkora provided key depth for the Wolf Pack team that snapped an eight-season playoff drought. Two years ago, Jaroslav Chmelař and Victor Mancini quickly became contributors for Hartford during another deep Calder Cup Playoff run. Last season, Noah Laba used his AHL stint as a launching pad to help break camp with the Rangers this season.

All of those prospects are now NHL players, yet none of them looked nearly as comfortable as Brody Lamb does right now.

Lamb was held scoreless in his AHL debut, but has since recorded a point in each of his next six contests. His six-game point streak is tied for the longest such streak by a Wolf Pack player this season.

Lamb has done so many little things right since joining the Wolf Pack. When the puck is on his stick, he knows what the smart play is and executes it. When he doesn't have the puck, he'll go to the net front and look for deflections or rebounds. He's been sound defensively too, being one of the only Wolf Pack forwards to post a positive plus/minus on the month.

"Every game, he's gotten better," Wolf Pack head coach Grant Potulny told Blueshirt Banter on March 28th. "I think we gotta try to find him a little bit more ice, too, try to capitalize on what he's doing for us."

Lamb has moved up the lineup and earned power play time in the seven games he's played since turning pro. It's a well-deserved opportunity for the University of Minnesota product, and he's continued to perform with the increased responsibility.

Lamb is a player you should absolutely be paying attention to throughout the remainder of the Wolf Pack's regular season. For his strong March, and his incredible start to his pro career, Lamb earns third star honors.

Second Star - Scott Morrow, defenseman

March stats: 12 GP, 3 G, 6 A, 9 Pts, -3, 31 PIMs

Second-year defenseman Scott Morrow stepped up in a big way for the Wolf Pack in March. Morrow was assigned to the Connecticut capital early in the month, and after veteran blueliner Derrick Pouliot was dealt to the Chicago Blackhawks organization at the NHL trade deadline, Morrow became the Wolf Pack's go-to option as a puck mover and power play quarterback.

Morrow was more than willing to take on the challenge. He posted nine points throughout March, the most by a Wolf Pack defenseman and tied for second on the team over that stretch.

Morrow had some tough puck luck early in the season, recording just one goal and five points through his first 14 games with the Wolf Pack. In March, Morrow showed the dominant offensive game that he displayed last season with the AHL's Chicago Wolves.

"He's got a lot of poise with the puck, good hands around the net, good offensive IQ," Potulny noted to Blueshirt Banter on March 11th after Morrow scored twice against the Cleveland Monsters. "I think that's three [goals] for him [this season], and I think there's going to be many more."

Morrow's offensive game wasn't the only thing on display in March. He wasn't afraid to mix it up with opponents, getting into one of two massive scrums against Bridgeport on March 6th before convincingly winning a tilt against Providence's Ty Gallagher on March 14th.

A strong end to Morrow's season will prepare him well to break camp with the Rangers next season. For his impressive March, he's an easy choice for second star.

First Star - Trey Fix-Wolansky, forward

March stats: 13 GP, 8 G, 4 A, 12 Pts, -4, 37 PIMs

That's right, we're running it back again. Veteran forward Trey Fix-Wolansky earns star honors for the fourth month, as well as his third time being the Wolf Pack's first star. His eight goals and 12 points in March are the most by a Wolf Pack player in any month this season.

From February into March, Fix-Wolansky had a six-game point streak where he recorded 13 points (7 G, 6 A), highlighted a four-point night against Bridgeport on March 6th. During said stretch, he also became the first Wolf Pack player to hit the 20-goal and 40-point marks on the campaign. It's one of the most dominant stretches I've seen from a Wolf Pack player in my time in the Connecticut capital.

Fix-Wolansky had previously found chemistry alongside Brendan Brisson throughout the year, but during his dominant March, he also played alongside Sýkora. The trio was a perfect combination, with Sýkora's heavy forecheck and willingness to go to the net opening up space for Fix-Wolansky and Brisson to make plays. Against Bridgeport on March 6th, the line combined for eight points, leading the Wolf Pack to a dominant 6-0 win.

"Our line is just working well together," Fix-Wolansky told Blueshirt Banter after the win on March 6th. "We're all focused on the same thing; forechecking, turning pucks over, and then getting the puck in the net as quick as possible."

"They mesh so well together," Potulny remarked to Blueshirt Banter. "They're driving play for us right now."

Fix-Wolansky's point streak eventually ended, but he continued to pace the Wolf Pack's offense throughout the month. He was just under a point-per-game pace across March, something the Wolf Pack are going to need during the home stretch.

"It's gonna be playoff mentality for every game for us here on out," Fix-Wolansky remarked to Blueshirt Banter. "Every game with an in-division opponent, it's a four point game. It's gonna be huge coming down the stretch and we're definitely ready for it."

The Wolf Pack remain within striking distance of a playoff spot. With this version of Fix-Wolansky, they could find themselves back in the dance. For a dominant March, Fix-Wolansky easily earns first star honors.
