November has come and gone, which means it's once again time to highlight the Hartford Wolf Pack's three best players of the month. As a refresher, you can view the Wolf Pack's three stars of October here.

The Wolf Pack played 12 games in November, going 4-5-3-0. From these games, I've selected the three players that I think had the best overall performances of the month. Let's get into the three stars for November!

Third Star - Dylan Roobroeck, Forward

November stats: 12 GP, 5 G, 2 A, 7 Pts, +2, 26 PIMs

After a slow October, second-year forward Dylan Roobroeck picked it up in November. The towering center potted five goals in November, the second-most of any Wolf Pack player in the month, and now sits in third place on the team in goals scored.

Roobroeck has developed into a do-it-all player for the Wolf Pack. He can play up and down in the lineup, gets plenty of time on both the power play and penalty kill, has an underrated scoring ability, and certainly isn't afraid to mix it up, highlighted by his 26 penalty minutes on the month.

Roobroeck's slow start in October can be attributed to managing a much larger workload this season. For much of the 2024-25 campaign, Roobroeck played bottom six minutes and didn't get time on special teams. He earned those as the season went on, but this year, Roobroeck's been relied upon to play key minutes for a Wolf Pack team who is inexperienced down the middle.

"His ice time is now over 20 minutes a night," Wolf Pack head coach Grant Potulny told Blueshirt Banter after the Wolf Pack's game against Lehigh Valley on November 1. "He's gonna have to take a lot of important faceoffs, and by default, you end up staying on the rink a lot. He's still trying to figure out that bump in minutes and how to manage that ice time."

In November, Roobroeck managed that ice time effectively and put up a strong performance. He's an easy choice for third star of the month.

Second Star - Justin Dowling, Forward

November stats: 11 GP, 2 G, 6 A, 8 Pts, +1, 4 PIMs

Veteran center Justin Dowling was one of a number of veteran players brought in to be leaders, both on and off the ice, for the Wolf Pack this season. In November, Dowling stood out, notching eight points and tying fellow veteran Derrick Pouliot for the team lead in assists, with eight on the campaign.

Dowling is a veteran of over 800 professional hockey games at the NHL, AHL, and ECHL levels, including nearly 600 contests in the AHL. Dowling has been impactful at the AHL level, racking up over 400 points, wearing a letter for multiple teams, and even winning a Calder Cup in 2014 with the Texas Stars. In November, the Wolf Pack saw just why Dowling has been a valuable player across his AHL career.

"He plays winning hockey," Potulny told Blueshirt Banter following the Wolf Pack's game against Springfield on November 18. "There's a reason he's continuing to generate offense for us. He’s predictable, he has great second efforts."

Dowling's game certainly doesn't have the flashiness of players like Gabe Perreault or Brett Berard, but his consistency has been a blessing for the Wolf Pack. They know they can always rely on Dowling to play sound hockey whenever he's on the ice, which is a skill not all players have.

As a result of Dowling's strong play throughout the month, he's earned second star honors for November.

First Star - Trey Fix-Wolansky, Forward

November stats: 12 GP, 6 G, 3 A, 9 Pts, +1, 12 PIMs

Veteran forward Trey Fix-Wolansky has been exactly the player the Wolf Pack needed this season. A longtime offensive force in the AHL, Fix-Wolansky took off in November, erupting for six goals and grabbing the overall team lead with nine tallies on the campaign.

Last season, the Wolf Pack finished 29th in the AHL in goals for, with 199. They knew they needed to address the lack of offense over the summer, and bringing in a certified scorer in Fix-Wolansky has proved to be a great decision. Fix-Wolansky entered the season with 259 career points across 289 AHL games, and he's added onto that total early in the 2025-26 campaign.

Despite joining a new organization for the first time as a professional and playing with various different linemates throughout the season, Fix-Wolansky has started to find his game and become a weapon for the Wolf Pack's attack.

"As an undersized guy, you gotta be able to get into guys' hands and underneath their checks. That's been a staple of my game for the last three to four years," Fix-Wolansky told Blueshirt Banter following the Wolf Pack's game against Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on November 21. "It was nice to be able to play the way I know I'm able to play."

"He's a player that has been a very dominant player in this league in the past," Potulny remarked to Blueshirt Banter after the aforementioned November 21 contest. "We're starting to see what he's capable of doing. I think we're gonna see a lot more of that going forward."

If the Wolf Pack get more of this Fix-Wolansky going forward, they're going to be a very tough team to play against throughout the remainder of the season. For his torrent November, Fix-Wolansky earns first star honors.
