GIF: Rick Nash and Martin St. Louis combine to give the Rangers the lead

Rick Nash also apparently records assists every now and then. His helper on Monday night was rather pretty.

Rick Nash doesn't only score goals, even if nine of his now 12 points of the season are via the goal. On Monday night, Nash recorded a rare assist, giving the Rangers the lead in the third period after finding Martin St. Louis for his second of the night. After St. Louis sent the puck cross-ice to Nash to begin the rush, the Rangers winger made his way through the zone, crashed the net, and put his stick in a position for Nash to find to give the Rangers a lead late in the third.

Really can't highlight how special this play is by Nash. He first pulls it wide to give himself a better angle to make a play. Then, he floats the puck perfectly over both defender's and Brian Elliott's stick, and lays a flat pass to St. Louis for the deflection. Nash again continues to dominate and influence the game in a number of ways. Also, a big night for St. Louis with two goals, his first multi-goal game as a Ranger.
