New York Rangers Debut Special 100th Anniversary Jerseys Ahead of Centennial Season
The Rangers have unveiled their Centennial jersey—a lighter blue throwback that nods to 1926 while celebrating 100 years of Blueshirts hockey.

The New York Rangers' centennial celebrations continue as the team has officially unveiled a new special centennial jersey, encapsulating the spirit of 100 years of Rangers hockey. The jerseys will be worn for the eight games the Rangers have theme nights planned for their centennial season.

The logo, which was initially unveiled in the spring, is shaped to pay tribute to the club's original shield that debuted in 1926. The jersey features the logo on the shoulder but has the classic Rangers staircase lettering written across the front of the jersey in the same original font from their inaugural season. The color of the jersey is also a lighter blue to match the original colors of the team's first jerseys in 1926.

One of the more subtle details comes inside the neck of the jersey, as it has the date of the first Rangers game with the original marque of the Garden designed above the date.

This will presumably be the first of two new Rangers jerseys to be worn this season as the Rangers will participate in their third Winter Classic in Miami against the Florida Panthers. Centennial jerseys are available for sale now through the team's official store.
The centennial jersey, as well as the Rangers' regular jerseys for the 2025-26 season, will also feature the logo of the team's first ever jersey patch partner, Mark Messier's GAME 7. The partnership will debut on Sunday, Sept. 21 with the Rangers’ first preseason game, and will have GAME 7 featured on all Rangers game jerseys—including the Centennial jersey—marking the first time the Rangers have brought a brand partner directly onto the jersey in their 100-year history.
GAME 7 is a "multi-platform sports and entertainment brand built around the relentless pursuit of greatness—the hunger it takes to rise in life’s pivotal 'Game 7' moments."

“For me, the Rangers will always be family, and Madison Square Garden will always feel like home,” said Mark Messier, co-founder of GAME 7. “To now see GAME 7—something we built with the same passion and commitment to greatness that defined my years on the ice—become part of the Rangers’ journey is incredibly meaningful. This partnership unites a legendary franchise, the world’s most iconic arena and a brand created to inspire people to rise to their greatest challenges. As the Rangers celebrate 100 years, it’s an honor to play a role in connecting the team’s history with its future and to help bring even more unforgettable experiences to fans who have always been at the heart of this organization.”
In addition, throughout the season, the brand will partner with the Rangers on exclusive merchandise drops alongside an original content series that will be shown across Rangers digital channels.
