The New York Rangers will look to build off of Monday's solid performance during Game 3, and carry that into tonight's Game 4 matchup against the Pittsburgh Penguins. Aside from the final ten minutes of the game on Monday, the Rangers carried the played for the other 50 minutes, and took it to the Penguins. Marc-Andre Fleury was able to keep that game close for the Penguins and gave them a chance at the comeback. The Rangers have tallied the first goal in each of the three games thus far, and doing so again tonight would definitely help their cause.
Just like Monday, the Rangers are expected to roll with the same lineup which means Kevin Klein will miss his fourth straight of the playoffs. Keith Yandle was also absent from the morning skate once again, but he is expected to be in lineup come game time. Yandle is believed to be dealing with some sort of illness, and he is using the extra time off to make sure he is properly prepared for the game.
Bryan's Player to Watch: Kevin Hayes
Kevin Hayes had an understandable rocky start to the playoffs, but during Game 3, he looked like the Kevin Hayes we have been watching all season. Obviously he needed some time to get acclimated to the war that is the Stanley Cup Playoffs, and Monday night it finally appeared as if he returned to form. Hayes has been huge for the Rangers all season long, and if the Rangers want to make another deep run, his success is crucial.
