The New York Rangers will take on the Tampa Bay Lightning tonight in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Final. A late goal by Dominic Moore propelled the Rangers to victory in Game 1, and they will look for a similar outcome this evening. However, the Rangers shouldn't expect a similar performance from the Lightning tonight, as they will look to even this series up heading back to Tampa Bay. Ben Bishop was outstanding in Game 1, and kept that game from getting out of hand with the Lightning struggling to create in the offensive zone.
The Rangers will certainly have their hands full tonight, but if they can carry over some of their play from Game 1, tonight will be another excellent game.
Bryan's Player to Watch: Dominic Moore
I'm going with the hot hand on this one after Moore notched the game winning goal late during Game 1. Moore was all over the ice the entire afternoon, and after all of the chances his line created, you could sort of sense that late goal coming. Since being moved into a third line role, Moore has flourished even more and I'm expected similar results for him tonight.
7 more to go. Let's go Rangers!
