The New York Rangers certainly weren't themselves on Monday evening, and it showed on the scoreboard to the tune of a 6-2 loss. As Joe mentioned in Tuesday's notes, the Game 2 loss was more of the Rangers losing rather than being beaten. The stupid penalties, lack of puck control, and not taking advantage of their opportunities were all problems the Rangers faced on Monday night.

Luckily, pretty much all of those issues are self inflicted wounds and they can be easily fixed with a solid performance tonight. In addition, the Rangers are usually pretty good at rebounding after a terrible game. And that Henrik Lundqvist guy? Yeah....watch for him to in top form as the Rangers look to take back control of this series heading into Game 4. It won't be an easy task, but if the Rangers can cut out the bad penalties, and keep this game at 5v5, they will be fine.

More importantly, I expect a big game from the captain himself tonight.
