After splitting the first two games at Madison Square Garden, the New York Rangers will travel into Washington, DC tonight for Game 3 of the Metropolitan Division Finals. Similar to the Pittsburgh series, the Rangers also split the first two games at home, and followed up by taking both of the games on the road at the CONSOL Energey Center. Obviously taking two games in Washington will be no easy task, but the Rangers always seem to play a much better game when they are away from their home crowd.

Alex Ovechkin has certainly made his presence felt so far in this series, and keeping him in check will be one of the many objectives for the Rangers moving forward. There's no real way to completely shut down Ovechkin, so containing him for a good stretch of the game is certainly a start. Alain Vigneault will be sticking with the same lineup as last game, and will also be keeping the defensive pairings the same as well.

Bryan's Player to Watch: Chris Kreider

Chris Kreider was an absolute monster last game by not only notching a goal 38 seconds into regulation, but using a healthy supply of speed and smarts. He was chasing down pucks all afternoon on Saturday, and along the boards, it was almost impossible to knock him off of the puck. With Mats Zuccarello done for the series, the Rangers will need Kreider to step up in his absence and provide some additional boost up on offense.
