New York Rangers Game Thread: Game 6, Devils at Rangers

Quick! Name all of the Devils' defensemen. Don't cheat.

The Rangers are hoping to avoid a three game losing streak this afternoon when they face Adam Henrique and the New Jersey Devils. The Devils are without a win thus far this season and have picked up only a single point with their 0-3-1 record. The Rangers' need to get a power play goal and the Devils' struggles killing penalties presents the Blueshirts with a great opportunity this afternoon to get something going on the man advantage against a Devils team that will spend some time in the box with players like Jordin Tootoo on the roster.

The Devils projected lineup for this afternoon's game:

Mike Cammalleri - Adam Henrique - Lee Stempniak

Jiri Tlusty - Travis Zajac - Kyle Palmieri

Reid Boucher - Jacob Josefson - Jordin Tootoo

Stefan Matteau - Stephen Gionta - Sergey Kalinin

Andy Greene - Adam Larsson

Eric Gelinas - John Moore

David Schlemko - Damon Severson

Cory Schneider

"Hey, Lee Stempniak!" Yes, the former Ranger had a PTO with the Devils and signed with them after training camp and the preseason. John Moore is another former Ranger that the Devils have in their lineup. He hit the market as a UFA after the Coyotes chose not to re-sign him and eventually signed with the Devils. I wouldn't be surprised to see John Moore throw a big hit to send a message to the Rangers' organization tonight. Mike Cammelleri leads the Devils with three points through their first four games and Adam Henrique leads the team with two goals.

Mike's Player to Watch: Rick Nash

Nash is just too good to go without a goal for much longer. His five goal drought to start the 2015-16 season is the worst start of his career, but he has had some chances. A single assist to go along with 19 shots through five games is some cause for concern given how much the Rangers rely on Nash to produce, but the offense will come.

Enjoy the game. Don't forget to watch the Riveters and get to Aviator tonight at 7 PM. #growthegame
