New York Rangers News: Injury Updates From Practice, Still No Rick Nash

There we some positives regarding injuries from practice this morning, but it's still concerning to see Rick Nash not on the ice.

The New York Rangers took to the ice for practice this morning, and we received some positives signs as a few players who were nursing injuries, were in the ice. However, Rick Nash was still not present for the morning skate, which has to send some alarming vibes throughout the team and fan base. We still do not know the full extent of Nash's injury, but he's on pace to miss his fourth straight game, which doesn't give off any indication that he is getting better.

Even though the news with Nash is still in the dark, the Rangers got some great news when Dan Girardi, Michael Del Zotto, and Darroll Powe were all on ice during practice.

- Dan Girardi stated after practice that other than "a little soreness" in his foot, he has no ailing effects from his blocked shot on P.K. Subban. Definitely some good news for Girardi, as many thought his ankle was broken after seeing him in that much pain.

- As for Michael Del Zotto, we received not immediate update on his injury status, but with him skating this morning, it's a clear cut sign that he'll be back tomorrow against the Winnipeg Jets.

- Darroll Powe was also cleared for tomorrow's game after suffering a concussion against the Washington Capitals on February 17th. Powe's absence was clearly missed in the bottom-six, and having him back will definitely help the teams toughness.

Finally, the final piece of injury news for the Rangers today was that Ryan McDonagh was also not present at practice this morning. Again, we don't immediately know what condition he is in, but there are rumors circulating that he has a concussion as a result of Max Pacioretty hit.

While the news wasn't great regarding McDonagh and Nash, it's definitely a positive to see some regulars returning to action tomorrow.
