New York Rangers News: Winter Classic Official, Tonight's Game and Marc Staal Update

Today officially marks the day where we can "finally" say the Rangers will participate in 2012 Winter Classic. Although most of knew about these details for months on end. Ryan Callahan, Brad Richards and Marian Gaborik were in attendance along with Glen Sather and John Tortorella at the press conference. We found out the official first episode of HBO's 24/7 will debut on December 14th, at 10:00 PM.

It just wouldn't be a Winter Classic without an alumni game, which will take place on December 31st at 1:00 PM. Although the players weren't announced, it should be an interesting game to see amongst the legends. The official time for the Winter Classic will be at 1:00 PM, and can be viewed on NBC, CBC, and RDS networks.

Although there were no jerseys released at the press conference, as earlier released, the Rangers logo was on display. You can take a look at the Rangers Winter Classic logo here.
