New York Rangers Open Thread: Rangers Seeking Revenge Tonight On Home Ice

The New York Rangers will take on the Boston Bruins tonight at Madison Square Garden. The Rangers will be looking for revenge tonight as well as their first win of the 2013 season.

The New York Rangers didn't start out the season in a way that they had hoped for, and now find themselves with two straight losses to start the season. Sloppy play in both the offensive and defensive zones have crippled the Rangers this season, and after two days, they hope to finally get down to business.

John Tortorella made a few tweaks to the lineup tonight by lining Marian Gaborik up to the right side of Brad Richards and Rick Nash. Hopefully these three can generate some explosive offense that fans have been waiting all throughout the summer and the lockout for.

Henrik Lundqvist will get the start in between the pipes tonight as he starts his third straight game.

Nash has easily been the Rangers best forward throughout the first two games, so there's no reason why he won't be tonight. He came away with his first goal as a Ranger against the Penguins, so hopefully there is a lot more of those to come.

Enjoy the game everyone! Let's hope they come out with two points tonight!
