The New York Rangers Recall John Gilmour

The New York Rangers continue to make internal moves, this time recalling John Gilmour.

With the recall of Neal Pionk yesterday, this is not a reaction to the Brendan Smith waive, so unless someone is hurt and we don’t know about it yet, something else has to be coming. I suppose Steven Kampfer might find himself on a seat in the press box, but I doubt it.

Gilmour has arguably been Hartford’s best defenseman this year, and has 26 points in 44 AHL games.
