New York Rangers vs Montreal Canadiens Open Thread


The New York Rangers will finally be returning to Madison Square Garden tonight, as they play their first home game of this young NHL season. They will be going up against a banged up Canadiens squad, as they will be without guys like Brandon Prust, Max Pacioretty, and Alexei Emelin to name a few.

Peter Budaj will be getting the start in net for the Canadiens, while Henrik Lundqvist will be returning from his unspecified injury. Tonight’s lineup will remain identical to Saturday night’s which includes Brad Richards, Derek Stepan, and Chris Kreider filling out the top line.
