Report: New York Rangers Will Listen to Offers on Alexandar Georgiev
The Rangers are carrying three goaltenders, and it is something that won’t work in the long run. With that in mind, they will listen to offers for Alexandar Georgiev.

Elliotte Friedman mentioned during the segment that the cost won’t be cheap, and the Rangers won’t entertain anything that doesn’t impress them. He also cites New York’s depth on defense prospects and in goal, so teams are under the assumption it will cost a young NHL forward, or a prospect who is almost ready.
Given Georgiev’s age and status as an RFA this summer, there could be a number of teams that show interest. The return could be dependent on the teams that are interested, as someone looking to add Georgiev to be a starter, the San Jose Sharks come to mind, may be willing to pay more than someone like the Toronto Maple Leafs who could use him as a dependable backup by Frederik Andersen.
