Another weekend matinee is on tap for the Rangers, as the team will be looking to bounce back from yesterday’s defeat in Philadelphia with a stronger effort against the Washington Capitals. Of all the players remaining on New York’s roster, Lindgren is one of few capable of providing some of the snarl that Lemieux did. Manning the top pair next to Adam Fox, Lemieux’s departure could grant Lindgren an opportunity to evolve his game. Whether it’s on the scoresheet or with his physicality, keep an eye on Lindgren this afternoon.
