Georgiev had a rough stretch during his recent stint in Hartford as he went 0-5-0 with a 0.892 SV% and a 3.49 G.A.A. Beleskey appeared in four games for the Blueshirts, and scored one goal on three shots while averaging 7:22 a game, and Tokarski saw no action during his stint.
Given the amount of shots Henrik Lundqvist has faced in recent games, there’s a decent chance the team wants to give him a break at some point over the next few games.
The Rangers play on Tuesday at home vs. the Anaheim Ducks, Saturday December 22 in Toronto, and Sunday December 23 vs. the Philadelphia Flyers. The team is then off for Christmas, and returns to action on December 27 vs. the Columbus Blue Jackets.
