Nicklas Jensen and Marek Hrivik on Waivers
Nathan Gerbe, Josh Jooris, Brandon Pirri, and Adam Clendening are still on the New York Rangers roster. Nicklas Jensen and Marek Hrivik are not. The Rangers placed the two European forwards on waivers earlier today.

NYR: Jensen, Hrivik
OTT: Blunden, Robinson, Kostka
STL: Agostino
WSH: Cannata

Hrivik was scoreless in four games. Jensen had one goal and one assist in his four preseason appearances. His goal (assisted by Chris Kreider and Dylan McIlrath) was what sent last night’s game against the Islanders into overtime.
Slowly but surely the roster is getting whittled down to what we should expect to see in the regular season. Clearly, Pirri’s unbelievable preseason has made an impact.
The battle for roster spots on the fourth line and on the Rangers’ blue line continues to heat up. The Rangers’ final preseason game is tomorrow night against the Philadelphia Flyers at 7:00pm at the Garden.
