It felt weird not having playoff hockey to watch last night didn't it? I hardly knew what to do with myself. I'm glad that we have a game to enjoy tonight... and what a game. How many Game Sevens is this now? I'm not sure I can handle this. Getzlaf and the Ducks are hungry to go deeper in the playoffs than his club has been in a long time and the high-scoring ex-Ranger Marian Gaborik and the Kings stand in his way. That Gaborik trade has paid off for the Kings, huh? Never thought he'd be this much of a factor for the Kings. I'm happy for him.
A lot of people out East are hesitant to call the Ducks/Kings rivalry a serious one because one of the teams was/is a Disney Franchise and the other team used to have purple jerseys but the rivalry between the two California clubs is real and intense and this should prove to be a nasty, intense Game Seven.
Who do you have winning tonight's game to round out the "final four"? Can you believe our Rangers are in the final four? Which of the teams playing tonight have a better chance of beating the Blackhawks in the Western Conference Finals? Let me know what you think in the comments.
