Ranger Updates: Wolski may be able to go, Booger Lives!

From Andrew Gross at Ranger Rants:

Wolski said after the skate he’s still hoping to play tonight but he needed to talk to trainer Jim Ramsey and the coaching staff about it. It might be a hard sell.

"I think I might be in tonight," said Wolski, adding he was able to shoot without the pain he experienced yesterday. "I’ve had a lot of rest and using the anti-inflammatory (patches), it feels a lot better than yesterday. It’s still a little painful. I’ll talk to the coaches but it definitely feels better than yesterday. They’re always going to be safe with injuries but we’re going to talk about it and discuss what’s the best course and what’s best for the team."

And.....

Boogaard, who’s been around the practice facility for about a week after undergoing acupuncture and massage therapy in Minnesota from a trusted doctor, said he’s symptom free from the concussion that’s kept him out since his Dec. 9 fight with Ottawa’s Matt Carkner. Boogaard said he thought Carkner’s move to flip him was "cheap" and that he didn’t suffer the concussion from being punched or from necessarily hitting his head on the ice but possibly having his head "rattle around" after he was flipped.

Saw lots of uproar on Twitter this morning on Larry Brooks saying the Rangers are interested in Filip Kuba. Not one positive comment from anyone on this so far, your thoughts?

Interesting piece of Ranger trivia for you:

Brandon Dubinsky is on pace to become the first North American to lead the Rangers in scoring since?

There seem to be a ton of ex-Rangers making news the last week or so (Paul Mara, Aaron Voros, etc) and here's another: Nigel Dawes has been recalled by Atlanta. Do ya care? Me neither.

If you said "Eric Lindros" as the answer to the trivia question, buy yourself a beer.
