And then there were two. With three qualified RFA's remaining on the Rangers' full roster, Chris Drury has put pen to paper with the only skater remaining on that list in forward Brendan Brisson.

Acquired in the Reilly Smith trade last winter, Brisson registered two goals and four assists across 16 games with the Hartford Wolf Pack. With his entry level deal coming to an end this season, the Rangers have agreed to terms on a one-year, two-way contract with a league minimum AAV, $775,000. Drafted 29th overall in 2020, Brisson will be a key player for Hartford this season as he currently stands as one of the Rangers most promising center prospects in the organization.

Brisson will certainly be a name to keep an eye on throughout training camp and the AHL season as he will have a full season to show the Rangers what he can do. With the lack of center depth being an issue and the Rangers desperately needing a third line center, Brisson will have all the opportunity in the world to try and take his game to the next level with the Rangers.

Expect him to see top-six minutes in Hartford to start the season while being a potential call up option for the Rangers as needed.
