As reported by Mollie Walker of the New York Post and Vince Mercogliano of The Athletic, the contract is a two-way deal, with Morrow's AAV at the NHL level at be $850,000, and his AHL earnings coming in at $125,000.

Morrow appeared in 29 games with the Rangers last season, registering six assists along the way. In 34 games with the Hartford Wolf Pack, Morrow collected five goals and 14 assists for 19 points. As Joe mentioned in his Season Preview piece, his place on the team is not guaranteed this coming season.
Morrow is a good, valuable young player who has incredible offensive skills and potentially severe defensive deficiencies. It was enough of an issue to get a head coach who seems to just wave his hand and get guys to become quality NHL defenseman to not want to give him a shot.
I don't think anything has changed between then and now, other than the addition of Smits, who doesn't help Morrow's chances.
He is, however, eligible for waivers, which means if the Rangers don't find a place for him on their opening night roster, one of the other 31 teams in the league very well could. Waiving him would certainly be a gamble, but it's one the Rangers may have to take with how their roster is projected to pan out.
Turning 24 this November, Morrow has played a total of 45 games at the NHL level, registering one goal and 11 assists for a total of 12 points. Regardless of where he plays this year, it will be a pivotal season for him at this stage of his career.
