New York Rangers Breaking News: Captain To Be Named Tomorrow

The New York Rangers have announced that they will name their 26th captain in franchise history tomorrow.

The announcement, along with the announcement of the two alternate captains, will be made on the New York Rangers official twitter, official facebook, and two official websites.

Personally, I hope that the captain will be Ryan Callahan, with Marc Staal and Brandon Dubinsky getting the two alternates. I expect Callahan to be captain, but I expect Staal and Richards, not Dubinsky to get the two alternates.

The Rangers could have waited longer to name their captain, but chose not to. That says something about how confident in their decision they are.
