Rangers-Islanders rivalry heats up; Lineup unchanged; NYR sends two scouts to Leafs-Kings

Bantering Points for Tuesday, January 13, 2015.

The Rangers-Islanders rivalry, or whatever you want to call it at this stage, is certainly ramping up. For the first time in a very long time, both teams are vying for the top of the division standings, and the Rangers hope to continue chipping away at the Islanders' lead with a win tonight. This one has already been readily hyped up, so I don't need to add anything. It should be fun. At the end of the day, its all about the standings points. Ok...and bragging rights...for now. Lots of links and stories about this game. [Blueshirt Banter] [The Hockey Writers] [NY Times] [Newsday] [NY Post] [NY Daily News] [Rangers Unlimited]
