Rangers News: Ryan Callahan and Chris Drury make team U.S.A

The United States announced their roster today for the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver. Chris Drury and Ryan Callahan are the only Rangers to make the team. NHL.com has a story that you can view here. Here are the highlights from the story:

Highlighting the team that Burke still feels is a considerable underdog entering the tournament are goalies Ryan Miller and Tim Thomas, defenseman Brian Rafalski and forwards Zach Parise and Patrick Kane.

"Making this team has definitely been in the back of my mind because it's something you want to be a part of," Parise told NHL.com last month. "You're seeing more commercials for it and you do get more excited."

Joining Parise, Patrick Kane, Jamie Langenbrunner, Chris Drury and Joe Pavelski up front will be Paul Stastny, Ryan Malone, Phil Kessel, Dustin Brown, Ryan Kesler, Ryan Callahan, David Backes and Bobby Ryan.

So there you have it. Now a total of four Rangers will be playing in the Olympics, with two more (Vaclav Prospal and Ales Kotalik) with potential to make their Czech Republic squad. Drury is a surprise to me, Callahan not so much.

From a squad side I think that the United States boast a pretty good roster who might do more damage that people expect. What do you think?
