Rangers Vs. Lightning Preview: Rangers Look For Three In A Row

The New York Rangers will head into Florida for a meeting with the Tampa Bay Lightning, which is their third game of a five game road trip.

Coming into tonight's game, the New York Rangers are tied for the league's longest road winning streak. With a win tonight they would have seven straight wins on the road, which would give them sole possession of the league lead. The Rangers have been playing some some outstanding defense over their last few games, and have held their opponents to two or fewer goals in their last five games.

Goal scoring this year has been pretty sketchy, but has since come to form with Rick Nash returning to the lineup a few games back. So far, the Rangers have started out this road trip out on the right foot, and they look to continue that trend tonight in Tampa Bay.

The Lightning have been bitten by the injury bug as of late, as Steven Stamkos, Radko Gudas, Ryan Malone, Brian Lee, Mattias Ohlund, and Keith Aulie are all out nursing injuries. Luckily for the Rangers (knock on wood), they have finally began to get healthy, and the only player still recovering from injury right now is Taylor Pyatt. Alain Vigneault confirmed that the lineup will remain the same as last game, with the only change being Henrik Lundqvist starting in goal.

The full lineup for tonight's game can be found below.
