Rangers vs Predators: Open Game Thread

The Rangers look to rebound off a loss against the Toronto Maple Leafs in a matchup vs. the defending Western Conference champs.

Tonight the New York Rangers. 25-21-5 (55 points), take on the defending Western Conference champs the Nashville Predators who have a record of 30-12-7 (67 points).. New York is 3-7-0 in its last 10 games whereas Nashville is 7-1-2.

This matchup will be one of the toughest the Rangers have this year, as the Predators have a nice balance of scoring, defense and stability in net. P.K. Subban leads the Preds with 38 points, Filip Forsberg is next with 36 points in 38 games played and then there is a three-way tie among Viktor Arvidsson, Kevin Fiala and Ryan Johansen for third place as each have 31 points. Kyle Turris has 30 points on the season, and 21 of them have come in the 34 games he's played in Nashville since coming over in a trade from the Ottawa Senators.

Pekka Rinne is expected to be in the net for the Predators and is having a sensational season. He has a record of 25-8-3 with a 2.29 goals against average and a .928 save percentage. He has won each of his last five starts and hasn't allowed a goal in the last two games played.

The Rangers will be sporting a new lineup as Pavel Buchnevich suffered a concussion in Thursday's loss vs. the Toronto Maple Leafs and he remains sidelined indefinitely.

Here are what the lines are expected to be.

Try and enjoy the game!
