Rangers Vs. Red Wings Preview: Nine Game Road Trip Ends Tonight In Detroit
The New York Rangers will conclude their nine game road trip tonight in Detroit, and will be looking to pick up two points in the standings.
The New York Rangers will finally conclude their nine game road trip tonight as they take on the Detroit Red Wings at Joe Louis Arena. The start to this season hasn't been so kind to the Rangers as they have only been able to muster up two wins in their first eight games. Injuries, coupled with some poor play along the way hasn't been a recipe for success, but the Rangers have been dealing what they were dealt.
Tonight will be yet another tough task as they take on the Red Wings, who have a handful of threats which include Pavel Datsyuk, Henrik Zetterberg, and Daniel Alfredsson just to name a few. Cam Talbot is expected to get his second straight start, as Henrik Lundqvist nurses his injury, and prepares for opening night on Monday. Mats Zuccarello will re-enter the lineup tonight after being a healthy scratch on Thursday, and will hopefully provide the Rangers with some offensive spark.
The Rangers full lineup can be found below.
