Stanley Cup Playoffs: 5/3/17 Open Thread

After the events that occurred during Monday night’s game in Pittsburgh, tonight’s meeting between the Penguins and Capitals is primed to get very ugly, very fast. With Sidney Crosby already being ruled out of Game 4 with a concussion, Pittsburgh is now down their two most important players, and Washington could use the chance to take back control of the series before heading back home to the Verizon Center. Meanwhile, out west, the Oilers and Ducks are set to square off in Game 4 as well. Although the tensions may not be as high between these two teams, the stakes are just as important. Can Anaheim reclaim home-ice advantage and turn the series into a best of three going back to California for Game 5? Or will the Oilers continue their (not-so) shocking run and grab a stranglehold of the series? The matchups are as follows:

Washington Capitals vs Pittsburgh Penguins Game 4 (PIT Leads 2-1) Puck is scheduled to drop at 3:30 PM AKDT on NBCSN

Anaheim Ducks vs Edmonton Oilers Game 4 (EDM Leads 2-1) Puck is scheduled to drop at 6:00 PM AKDT on NBCSN

Enjoy the games!
