Trey Fix-Wolansky Ready for New Challenges in Hartford
The two-time AHL All-Star is no stranger to challenges, preparing him well for his first season with the Wolf Pack.

When Trey Fix-Wolansky entered unrestricted free agency for the first time on July 1, he knew it was time for a change.
At the time, Fix-Wolansky had spent his entire career with the Columbus Blue Jackets organization after being drafted in the seventh round (#204) by the team in 2018. Over that time, he became the greatest player in the history of the Cleveland Monsters, Columbus' AHL affiliate, leading them all-time in goals, assists, points, power play goals, and game winning goals.

Still, Fix-Wolansky wanted a new challenge. So when the Rangers came calling just two days into free agency, he jumped at the chance to join the organization.
"It was just time for me to move on [from Columbus], get some fresh sets of eyes on me," Fix-Wolansky told Blueshirt Banter at Wolf Pack media day last Monday. "Just wanted to try something new and thought there was good opportunity here for me. So far, itβs been really great."
