At long last, Henrik Lundqvist is finally back in New York City
Welcome back, Hank!
Henrik Lundqvist has not yet gotten any preseason action in.
How could he, when he was playing for Team Sweden at the World Cup of Hockey up in Toronto? The Swedes made it to the semifinals, so they were busy up until about a week ago.
And from there, it takes a bit of time to get back properly. There’s disbanding, there’s recovery, there’s physically getting yourself back to the place you’re going to live for much of the year.
But now, Lundqvist is finally - finally - back where he belongs. And he says hi.
