Open Game Thread: Senators vs Rangers

New, comments
Adam Hunger-USA TODAY Sports

In their first meeting since the 2017 Playoffs, the Rangers welcome the Ottawa Senators into Madison Square Garden. The last time the Senators came to paid the Rangers a visit, they ended New York's season with a 4-2 victory in Game 6 to cap off a 4-2 series win in the second round.

However, the Senators are a different team than the one that defeated the Rangers last season. Gone are Kyle Turris, Chris Neil, Viktor Stalberg, and Tommy Wingels, with the likes of Chris DiDomenico, Matt Duchene, and Nate Thompson replacing them.

New York's sports teams are undefeated at home today, so look for the Rangers to continue that trend tonight.
