Following a pretty lackluster first period, the Rangers came out looking for answers in the second period. Brett Howden followed up the play and chipped home to loose puck to tie the game up at a 2-2.

3-2 Oilers
Leon Draisaitl (42) - Connor McDavid (64) & Darnell Nurse (27) - 0:35 Overtime

The first attempt by Darnell Nurse was turned aside by Alexandar Georgiev, but Connor McDavid immediately found Leon Draisaitl cutting to the net and the rest is history.

Following a deflating overtime loss to Edmonton, the Rangers will have a scheduled off day tomorrow before returning to action on Wednesday night against the Vancouver Canucks.
