Antti Raanta is now a father

Congrats!!

The New York Rangers won’t be able to call on Antti Raanta tonight.

Which is all well and good - because his wife has given birth to their daughter, Evelyn!

Even though Raanta won’t be suiting up for the Rangers, at least he’s made sure his newborn daughter is wrapped up in Rangers colors. How perfect is that?

Congrats to the Raantas on little Evelyn. How long until she’s chanting “Let’s go Rangers!” from her own crib?

As a goalie, Raanta isn’t likely to be celebrating the birth of his daughter with any dad goals any time soon - but maybe he’ll be able to do something else special for her that goalies do next time he’s in between the pipes.
