With Kenny Albert being announced as the replacement for Sam Rosen in April, many wondered who would fill the void left after Joe Micheletti announced he'd be retiring alongside his longtime boothmate. The team has finally revealed who will join Kenny on the broadcast, and it's none other than his long-time radio partner, Dave Maloney.

As Kenny pointed out, Dave bleeds Rangers blue. Drafted by the Rangers in the first round in 1974, the former defenseman built an NHL career primarily playing on Broadway. To this day, he remains the youngest player appointed as captain of the Blueshirts and helped the Rangers reach the Stanley Cup Final that same year.

Maloney has been part of the Rangers' broadcast team for over twenty years and has an unmatched passion for New York. For him to take on this role during the Rangers' centennial season will be a special event for both him and Rangers fans everywhere.
