New York Rangers News: Arrests made in connection with the death of Derek Boogaard
Derek Boogard died over three years ago, but on Tuesday, arrests were reportedly made in connection with the incident.
Fox 5 NY is reporting arrests have been made in connection to the death of foremr Ranger Derek Boogaard.

— MyFoxNY.com (@MyFoxNY) September 9, 2014 According to reports, Jordan Hart, son of former New York Islander Gary Hart, was apprehended in Long Island Tuesday morning by New York's DEA task force, after it was discovered Hart was supplying Boogaard with the prescription painkillers that led to his death.
Boogaard was a member of the Rangers during the 2010-11 season. Shortly after the season ended, Boogaard died in what was ruled an accidental overdose. It later was revealed Boogaard suffered from chronic traumatic encephalopathy, or C.T.E., a condition that's believed to be caused by repeated blows to the head. The New York Times published a series of stories later that year that really provide a lot of context surrounding the stituation.
UPDATE: Fox 5 NY has added to its story to include that Oscar Johnson, a physician's assistant in Utah, was also arrested in connection with this case. Johnson allegedly wrote Percocet prescriptions for Hart for two years, totaling almost 3,000 pills prescribed.
