It's an original six-match-up for the New York Rangers, who will look to continue their hot start to the season. The Rangers are coming off a dominant victory against the Anaheim Ducks, and the Toronto Maple Leafs will look to extend their two-game win streak. With a win, and the Carolina Hurricanes lose, the Rangers will stand in first place in the Metropolitan Division.
The Rangers will deploy similar lines as they did in their previous game. It is noted below that Scott Morrow practiced on the second pairing, but that was due to Sean Durzi being given a rest day. Dylan Garand will start in net for the Rangers.
#NYR lineup looks the same, minus Durzi:

Šmits - Schneider
Fourth line is rotating.

Player to Watch: Mika Zibanejad
The Rangers have toyed with their top six a few times, but what has remained is Mika Zibanejad centering the first line. Zibanejad has nine points so far this season, including a beautiful assist against the Ducks.

Zibanejad has been a positive for the Rangers while helping bring the best out of Gabe Perreault and Alexis Lafrenière. If he can keep this level of play up or even take another step forward, the Rangers may have a capable and scoring first line.
Enjoy the game!
