Back at it on home ice, the New York Rangers play hosts to a bunch of familiar faces on the Los Angeles Kings. Former friends Erik Gustafsson, Mats Zuccarello, and Artemi Panarin make another return to the Garden as the Kings look to bounce back after falling to the New Jersey Devils 3-1 over the weekend. The Kings just won their first game of the season last Tuesday as they have had a rough start to the year with a record of 2-5-2 across their first nine outings.
Veteran netminder James Reimer will make his Rangers debut tonight as he is slatted to get his first start of the 16th season of his career in the NHL. Reimer is coming off a shutout with the Hartford Wolf Pack during his professional tryout stint in the AHL. Worth noting, Joonas Korpisalo did return to the ice for the first time since going on IR with a foot infection over the weekend.
