It's the last original six matchup for the Rangers' centennial season as they are set to take on the Detroit Red Wings. The Rangers will look to bounce back following their loss against the Montreal Canadiens. The Red Wings are coming off a win against the Philadelphia Flyers as they fight to make the playoffs.
The Rangers will likely use the same lineup they have used their last few games. Head coach Mike Sullivan stated that Jonathan Quick will get the start in the first of back-to-back games. For the Red Wings, John Gibson will be between the pipes.
Where to Watch:
Cable/Network TV: ABC
National Broadcast: ESPN+
Radio: 1050 AM
Player to Watch: Jonathan Quick
There are only so many games left in the season, and there is no guarantee Quick is back with the team or even in the league. The 40-year-old goaltender has accomplished a lot in the league, but it may be time for him to hang up the skates. In three seasons with the team, Quick has been a reliable backup goaltender posting a. 899 save percentage.

While the last two seasons haven't been where the team or Quick hoped they would be, the Connecticut native has been a model player and has reached multiple achievements over his Rangers career.
Enjoy the game!
