1. On the Monday release of 32 Thoughts, Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman weighed in on the seemingly never-ending will-he-won't-he discourse surrounding Artemi Panarin and the Rangers.

Friedman believes it's in Panarin's best interest "to go somewhere and thrive," if for no other reason than to boost his value as he heads for free agency this coming summer. Friedman specifically mentioned Florida, Washington, and Minnesota—three clubs with Russian connections that he's been linked to seemingly all year—but said the team he "really wonders about," is Colorado. "Could you imagine Panarin on that team and what it would look like?" he said.

2. SDPN's Chris Johnston also chimed in on Panarin, telling listeners on The Chris Johnston Show, that even at Panarin's age, he believes Panarin is "going to get paid," and we now know, in the wake of The Letter: 2.0 that it won't be coming from New York.
