New York Rangers Open Thread: Rangers Vs. Capitals - Game 5

The New York Rangers are facing off against the Washington Capitals tonight after tying the series up at 2-2. Can they get it done?

The New York Rangers will have yet another big game on their hands tonight as they head into Washington, D.C. for Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals. The Rangers tied up the series earlier in the week with two huge wins at Madison Square Garden.

Unfortunately for the Rangers, they will be without Marc Staal once again as he still isn't comfortable enough to return to action. On the other end, the Capitals will be missing Martin Erat as he is sidelined after getting tangled up in a collision during Game 4.

There's simply no denying that Derick Brassard has been the Rangers best forward over these last two games. He's riding a two game point streak, and I can feel another big game from him tonight.
