New York Rangers Open Thread: Rangers Vs. Ducks

New York Rangers vs Anaheim Ducks open game thread.

Next Game

The Anaheim Ducks will be coming to town tonight as they take on the New York Rangers at Madison Square Garden. The Ducks are playing their last game of an eight game road trip, and are looking to end it on a high note. As for the Rangers, they have one four of their last five games, and have currently won three straight. Their next two opponent's will be a major test for this team, as the Ducks will be in tonight, while the Pittsburgh Penguins will visit on Wednesday.

Ryan Callahan will be making his return to the lineup tonight after he suffered a broken thumb against the Washington Capitals about two weeks ago. Callahan should give the Rangers a huge boost, especially against a tough opponent like the Ducks. Henrik Lundqvst will get the start once again tonight, while rookie Frederik Andersen will be starting at the other end for the Ducks.

Ryan Callahan was just starting to come to form right before he went down with a broken thumb. He's always been a huge addition for the Rangers, and there's no surprise that he'll jump right back into the mix tonight. I expected a big game from the captain, in front of the home fans tonight.
