Open Game Thread: Rangers vs Blues

For the final time this season, the New York Rangers will square off with a Western Conference team, as they’ll head into Scottrade Center to take on the St. Louis Blues. The Blues currently find themselves on the periphery of the playoff race, as they’re five points out of a Wild Card spot with two games in hand on the teams ahead of them. As such, the Rangers should be prepared for a hungry team playing like they have nothing to lose.

As New York’s hopes of landing a high draft pick have largely faded, the team will continue to go through the motions tonight, as well as the next ten games to close out their season. Alexandar Georgiev will be getting his third consecutive start as the Rangers attempt to figure out who’ll be competing with Henrik Lundqvist for next year’s starting job.

Enjoy the game, and Let’s Go Blues Rangers!!!
