Open Thread: Stanley Cup Playoffs Day 18 & Draft Lottery
Here’s an open thread for today’s/tonight’s playoff hockey!
It’s the opening game of a series between the Tampa Bay Lightning and Boston Bruins today. After finishing first in the Atlantic Division, the Lightning defeated the New Jersey Devils in five games to qualify for the second round. The Bruins (second in Atlantic) were forced to seven games by the Toronto Maple Leafs, before they moved on to to the semifinals.
In the Western Conference, it’s Game 2 between the San Jose Sharks and Vegas Golden Knights. On Thursday, the Golden Knights won 7-0 in Game 1. The Sharks will be without Evander Kane, who was suspended one game for cross checking.
