McLeod led the league in fighting majors last season with the Predators and Avalanche. Before the Rangers claimed McLeod off of waivers he had more fights than the entire Blueshirts roster. The veteran physical winger had one goal, one assist, and 72 penalty minutes with the Predators in 22 games this season after scoring five goals in 2016-17 in 59 games.

There is some speculation that the enforcer is Hartford-bound due to the number of Wolf Pack forwards who are currently skating with the big club. Wherever McLeod plays he will certainly be bringing a lot of physicality to the table. He is widely considered to be one of the toughest men in the NHL.
