Rangers Game Thread: Preseason Game 4, Rangers at Devils

All About the Jersey

Relevant Links

On Monday the Rangers opened their preseason with a definitive 6-3 win at the Garden against the New Jersey Devils. Tonight, in their fourth game of the 2015 preseason, they will meet the Devils yet again. You might remember Monday’s game as the game where Jayson Megna and Brian Gibbons displayed what can only be described as super powers on the Garden ice.

On Thursday night the Blueshirts fell in the shootout to the Bruins when they weren’t able to hold on to their one goal lead. The Bruins got the extra skater on the ice after pulling the goalie and scored to tie the game with 53.3 left, beating Jeff Malcolm with a slap shot that slipped through the five hole.

The Rangers will be looking to improve their preseason record to 2-1-1 tonight… but, of course, none of this actually matters. The only thing that truly matters in preseason is that players stay healthy and that the coaching staff get a good look at the roster.
