Rangers Vs. Penguins Open Thread: Rangers Look For Big Game Today In Pittsburgh

The New York Rangers and Pittsburgh Penguins will faceoff this afternoon at the CONSOL Energy Center.

The New York Rangers will look to end their two game skid this afternoon as they head into Pittsburgh to take on the Penguins. The Penguins have won seven games straight, and have no plans of stopping anytime soon. All of the remaining games are big for the Rangers, but this one is just a little more important than the rest. Henrik Lundqvist is expected to get the start, and Roman Hamrlik will remain in the lineup.

Rick Nash hasn't been on the score sheet that much over the last few games, and this is the type of game where he will thrive. As Joe pointed out in the preview, I wouldn't be surprised if he and Marian Gaborik have a big game. They're sort of due.
