REPORT: Mats Zuccarello Doing Light Workouts
Mats Zuccarello, out with a suspected concussion, has begun light workouts.
Mats Zuccarello is already partaking in light workouts, Norwegian news source Verdens Gang is reporting.
The news comes from Zuccarello's manager, Kevin Skabo. A rough translation from the article:
"'When you get a puck in his temple, calling it the church bells, to speak. He is on the mend and in light training, but like all other damages must be very careful and make sure that you take one step at a time,' says Skabo."
'We'll see when the doctors think he is healthy enough. Mats has been long in peace now, but has begun to be allowed to train small and quiet. He's on the bike and stuff like that,' says Skabo."
Skabo goes on to stick to the Rangers' company line that there is no timetable for his return. However, he does not completely rule out a return during the playoffs.
Earlier today, Blueshirt Banter was able to debunk circulating rumors about Zuccarello's injury being career-threatening.
