If history is any indication, Glen Sather never really learned his lesson. For every moment of shrewd, savvy business (the Ryan Callahan trade for example), there were two or more moments of insanity (the Dan Girardi extension and the Marc Staal extension immediately come to mind). For the moment, we’

What is there to say about Tanner Glass in 2017? I could copy and paste my 2016 or 2015 Report Cards while changing a few names and dates around and everything would still ring true. I could throw numbers, percentages, and rates at you for 500+ words while sprinkling in

Throughout the regular season, the New York Rangers featured a number of combinations on their fourth line. Many of those combinations emulated a speed and skill focused style, rather than a more traditional gritty fourth line. Players like Brandon Pirri, Jesper Fast, and Oscar Lindberg often found themselves on the

With Oscar Lindberg departing for the Vegas Golden Knights in last week’s NHL Expansion Draft, the New York Rangers are suddenly in need of a fourth line center. While they do have an internal replacement in Cristoval Nieves, there could be other attractive options in free agency and they
